Construction Site Manager

About the role

Greenvolt Next is looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for renewable energy projects across Europe. You will be responsible for overseeing daily construction operations from mobilisation through commissioning and post‑installation support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor progress against project plans, schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies, conduct site inspections and address safety concerns promptly.
• Conduct quality inspections, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Control site resources – labour, materials and equipment – to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including daily logs, progress reports and safety records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, engineers and other stakeholders, leading regular site meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience, preferably on renewable energy projects.
• Relevant certifications in construction management and health & safety.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
