About the role
The position is for a Consultant General Paediatrician based at Cavan General Hospital, serving the HSE Dublin and North East health region. It is a permanent, whole‑time role open to both HSE and non‑HSE applicants.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver specialist paediatric clinical services to children and adolescents at Cavan General Hospital.
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis and management within the paediatric department.
- Participate in on‑call rotas and emergency paediatric care as required.
Required profile
- Qualified medical doctor with registration to practise paediatrics in Ireland.
- Consultant‑grade experience in general paediatrics.
- Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland.
