Contact Centre Team Leader – Newcastle West

About the role

Sysco Ireland is seeking a motivated Contact Centre Team Leader to drive a culture of customer obsession and achieve high performance across Tele‑Sales and Customer Service. You will lead a team that delivers efficient, effective service while capitalising on sales opportunities and minimising negative experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver team results against set KPIs in partnership with the Contact Centre Manager.
• Instil a strong customer‑focused mindset, ensuring SLA adherence and end‑to‑end ownership of issues.
• Act as the voice of the customer within the business and champion Sysco’s values.
• Lead, motivate and model inclusive, transparent, and empathetic behaviour.
• Create a positive culture where successes are celebrated.
• Develop direct reports through regular performance feedback, goal setting, coaching and training.
• Own and drive individual and team projects aimed at improving the customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a contact‑centre or similar environment.
• Strong people‑management and coaching abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and eager to expand knowledge and skills.
