Content Moderation Specialist (SA) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Content Moderation Specialist (SA) to join a fast‑growing digital platform. Based in Ireland and working fully remotely, you will help maintain a safe, trustworthy online environment by reviewing large volumes of user‑generated content.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess user‑generated content against internal policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Identify, flag, and report material that is harmful, misleading, or otherwise non‑compliant.
• Apply moderation rules consistently while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Escalate complex, ambiguous, or sensitive cases to senior moderators or policy teams.
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive user data.
• Provide feedback to improve moderation processes.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in trust & safety, compliance, moderation, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate sensitive content objectively.
• Basic understanding of moderation workflows, tools, and community guidelines.
• Awareness of cultural context influencing content interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
