Control Room Operator – Full‑Time

About the role

AlarmControl24 is seeking a full‑time Control Room Operator to join its state‑of‑the‑art Alarm Receiving Centre in Sandyford, Co. Dublin. You will be the first point of contact for alarm signals, CCTV activations and security incidents, ensuring rapid and compliant responses.

Key responsibilities

• Process alarm signals from customers, including CCTV activations.
• Communicate with key‑holders, Garda and emergency services following client protocols.
• Follow client‑specific procedures for handling alarm activations.
• Respond promptly to incidents in line with PSA performance standards.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls with installers, end users and emergency services.
• Assist installers and customers with alarm‑monitoring enquiries.
• Conduct CCTV camera patrols and report faults.
• Maintain a clean, safe and operational control room.
• Carry out additional security‑related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Strong time‑management, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and the public.
• Flexibility to work 12‑hour shifts, including nights, days and weekends.
• Reliable team player with enthusiasm and business maturity.
• Willingness to undergo background vetting, including employment history and criminal record checks.
