Corporate Counsel

About the role

SolarWinds is seeking a junior Corporate Counsel to join its Legal Department in Cork. The role supports the commercial function, working closely with sales, GRC, product and engineering teams, as well as senior legal leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, revise and negotiate a range of commercial agreements, including SaaS and on‑premise software license agreements, maintenance, support, partner and OEM contracts.
• Provide privacy advice, negotiate data‑processing addenda and security statements, and liaise with information security and IT teams.
• Respond to ad‑hoc queries from global sales teams, improve commercial processes, and maintain standard contract playbooks.
• Monitor and advise on European legislative developments such as the EU AI Act, NIS2, DORA, CRA, and other technology‑related legal issues.
• Support other members of the Legal Department on various matters and undertake special projects as assigned.
