Corporate Security Officer

About the role

Join Securitas Security Services as a Corporate Security Officer in Ovens, Cork. You will help protect client assets, staff and visitors by preventing loss, damage and safety hazards. The role offers a fully flexible schedule across all days of the week.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all mandatory training for the assigned site.
• Follow and regularly review published Assignment Instructions, suggesting improvements where possible.
• Monitor CCTV systems when required.
• Identify and immediately report health and safety hazards.
• Stay alert to potential threats and take proactive actions to minimise disruption.
• Document incidents promptly and accurately for the Incident Report process.

Required profile

• Fluent English.
• Minimum six months experience in a similar security role.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• First Aid training.
• Valid PSA licence (required) and Safe Pass (desirable).
• Own transport and a clean driver’s licence are advantageous.
• Full flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
