Corporate Security Officer

About the role

Join Securitas as a Corporate Security Officer and become the trusted presence that safeguards people, property, and peace of mind at a prestigious client site in Dublin 18. You will work flexible hours, including nights and Sundays, to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorized access by monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
• Conduct internal and external patrols, perform routine tests of security equipment and manage keys, locks and access points.
• Maintain logbooks, issue visitor/contractor passes and handle lost property according to assignment instructions.
• Support health and safety by reporting hazards, accidents and ensuring clear emergency routes.
• Investigate fire alarm activations, report incidents, suspicious activities, objects and vehicles.
• Operate radios, pagers and other security communication tools.
• Provide high‑level customer service, addressing staff and visitor concerns while upholding Securitas’ professional image.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a fully flexible schedule, minimum 36 hours per week, including nights and Sundays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Professional appearance and commitment to Securitas’ values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness.
