Cost Accountant – Manufacturing (Dublin)

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Cost Accountant to join a leading manufacturing organisation in Dublin. The role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, responsible for full product costing, maintaining cost models, and providing financial analysis to support senior management decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new product costing structures.
- Manage and monitor existing internal and external cost components.
- Perform reconciliations of product costs and ensure accuracy.
- Create and update profitability models.
- Maintain the Master Data Costings file and generate new Cost of Goods as required.
- Review labour costings and collaborate with commercial teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant with experience in a costing role.
- Demonstrated costing or commercial experience is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with sales managers and clients.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong IT proficiency.
