About the role

Join Deloitte’s Financial Risk team and play a pivotal role in shaping credit risk and prudential regulation projects for leading financial institutions. You will lead complex credit modelling engagements, influence regulatory compliance strategies, and contribute to innovative risk solutions across Europe and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of credit risk modelling and prudential regulation engagements.
• Provide expert advice on credit risk modelling and risk analytics to clients.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering their development.
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture client relationships to grow the financial risk practice.
• Collaborate with Deloitte’s European and global financial risk network to deliver innovative solutions.
• Engage with the local financial services community to expand professional networks.
• Develop thought‑leadership content on financial risk and prudential regulation.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in credit risk modelling, including model development or validation, with hands‑on experience in IRB or IFRS9 frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or finance discipline (minimum 2.1).
• Advanced proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, or R.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end‑to‑end model development or validation projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
