About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a Custodian for the Dublin campus of Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Under general supervision, you will keep the campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, windows, fixtures, stairs, restrooms, and doors.
- Operate floor machines such as buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners.
- Maintain orderly appearance of storage areas and specified campus zones.
- Follow safety regulations and handle cleaning chemicals according to guidelines.
- Lift, push, or pull loads of 25‑50 lb and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and understand safety warnings on cleaning chemicals.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate cleaning equipment.
Required skills
- Floor machine operation.
- Use of buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners.
