Customer Assistant – Ballycullen

About the role

Lidl is looking for enthusiastic Customer Assistants to join its Ballycullen store. You will work on a 30‑hour weekly contract, rotating across morning, middle and late shifts, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Stock shelves and prepare bakery items before opening.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented store and ensure product freshness through proper rotation.
• Assist customers on the shop floor, answer queries and operate tills to minimise queues.
• Handle waste correctly and support stock‑count processes.
• Sell alcohol responsibly (must be 18+).

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with excellent customer service mindset.
• Reliability, responsibility and willingness to work varied shift patterns.
• Team player who enjoys a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Age 18 or over (required for alcohol sales).

Required skills

• Basic till operation.
