Customer Assistant

About the role

Join Boots as a Customer Assistant, an entry‑level role ideal for those starting their career or experienced retail staff seeking a new challenge. You will work on‑site reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager, assisting at tills, advising customers and supporting back‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers at the tills and provide product advice.
• Promote in‑store offers and schemes.
• Ensure product displays are stocked and tidy.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
• Support stockroom activities and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a great shopping experience.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

• Attention to detail and appreciation for small customer interactions.
• Desire to represent the Boots brand positively.
• Experience in customer service is a plus but not essential.
