Customer Assistant

About the role

As a Customer Assistant you will work on‑site in a Boots store, reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager. You will be the front‑line contact for shoppers, helping them at the tills, on the shop floor or in the back‑room while delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers by listening to their needs, answering questions and recommending suitable products.
• Promote in‑store offers and schemes, ensuring shoppers receive up‑to‑date information.
• Maintain a tidy and well‑stocked shop floor, manage till operations and support stockroom activities.
• Collaborate with team members to create a clean, welcoming environment and a positive shopping experience.

Required profile

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a varied retail environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative attitude.
• Attention to detail, understanding that small actions impact customer satisfaction.
• Enthusiasm for representing the Boots brand and helping customers find the right products.
• Previous customer‑service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
