Customer Assistant (Part-time)

About the role

Join Lidl’s store team in Letterkenny as a part‑time Customer Assistant. You’ll work a 30‑hour week across morning, middle or late shifts, helping to deliver a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Operate tills and manage cash transactions efficiently.
• Stock shelves, replenish bakery items and ensure product freshness.
• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene standards and follow waste‑management procedures.
• Apply stock‑loss controls and support regular stock‑count processes.
• Provide accurate information and resolve customer queries on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Positive, “can‑do” attitude with strong customer‑service focus.
• Reliability and willingness to go the extra mile for shoppers.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
• Team player who can adapt to different shift patterns.
• Must be 18 years or older (required to sell alcohol).
