Customer Service Assistant – Retail (Cork City)

About the role

The Customer Service Assistant will deliver an outstanding experience to shoppers in a busy retail environment. You will support the Shop Manager and team in day‑to‑day operations while handling bets and cash transactions accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store activities.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash handling, including accepting and paying out bets via EPOS and betting terminals.
• Maintain high standards of shop presentation and cleanliness.
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the multi‑channel digital journey.
• Step in to lead the team in the absence of managers, overseeing operations and staff.

• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Flexible to work 7‑day weeks and adapt to a fast‑paced retail setting.
