Customer Service Lawyer – Aviation

About the role

Ryanair is seeking a Customer Service (CS) Lawyer to join its growing Customer Service Legal team in Dublin. You will support the airline in managing legal claims arising from flight disruptions while ensuring compliance with EU Regulation 261/2004 and related national legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation across all jurisdictions where Ryanair operates, including attending court hearings when required.
• Coordinate with external law firms, National Enforcement Bodies, and other regulatory authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of passenger‑rights legislation and disseminate guidance internally.
• Handle queries and escalations from internal stakeholders, external partners, and legal bodies.
• Assist Customer Service Agents with legal claim handling and ensure compliance with internal policies and litigation procedures.
• Prepare and deliver legal training for Customer Service and Regulator teams.
• Collect and organise evidence related to flight disruptions in collaboration with Operations.
• Identify and implement practical and strategic improvements to processes.

Required profile

• Law degree with a strong interest in aviation law and passenger‑rights litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EU Regulation 261/2004 and national passenger‑rights legislation.
• Experience in managing litigation and preparing legal evidence.
• Familiarity with dispute‑resolution processes and court procedures.
