Customer Support Specialist – LC Software

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a Customer Support Specialist focused on LC Software to design and deliver training for internal and external users of electron microscopy and analytical instruments. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs, including classroom, hands‑on, remote and e‑learning formats.
• Deliver training to diverse audiences such as Field Service Engineers, R&D specialists, Operations Engineers and customers.
• Collaborate with Global Tech Support, R&D, Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Management to ensure training quality.
• Track learner progress using the skills‑passport system and tailor learning paths for various expertise levels.
• Travel up to 30‑40% to provide on‑site training and customer support.

Required profile

• Advanced degree with ≥3 years or Bachelor’s degree with ≥5 years of experience in adult learning program development.
• Technical background in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, physics or related fields.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects across global teams.
