Cybersecurity Architect

About the role
Whitehall Resources is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join its team in Ireland on a six‑month contract. The role will focus on designing, documenting and governing security solutions across multi‑cloud, AI and OT environments, ensuring the organisation’s assets are protected while supporting business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Author and review architecture artefacts such as ROMs, High‑Level Designs and Business Requirement Documents.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and architecture.
- Recommend and implement security controls that align with business partner needs.
- Design and document security solutions for multi‑cloud, AI and OT environments.
- Advise on emerging security technologies and assess associated risks.
- Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Stay current on the latest cyber threats and technologies.
- Establish cybersecurity policies, standards and best practices.
- Perform security reviews, identify gaps and create a risk‑management plan.
- Evaluate proposed architectures to ensure adequate security design.
Required profile
- Strong ability to balance usability and security, acting as a business enabler.
