Cybersecurity Consultant / Concierge Security Engineer 2

About the role

Arctic Wolf is looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant / Concierge Security Engineer 2 to join its Cork team. You will act as the primary liaison for customers facing security incidents, helping them understand and remediate threats while supporting the Security Operations Center.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior cybersecurity engineers on client projects.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers reporting security incidents.
• Analyze structural weaknesses and produce technical reports.
• Troubleshoot security and technical issues with team guidance.
• Share basic security best practices with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Build trust‑based relationships and analyze logs to identify threat patterns.
• Continuously develop skills through mentoring and hands‑on experience.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT fields.
• Familiarity with network security, cloud infrastructure, SaaS tools, and identity management.
• Exposure to risk and vulnerability management.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Analytical mindset with structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑oriented and eager to grow professionally.

Required skills

• Networking basics: TCP/IP, subnetting, common protocols.
• Operating system hardening: Windows, Linux, Unix.
• Security tools: firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Vulnerability assessment tools: Nmap, Nessus, OpenVAS.
• Security frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST.
