Data Analyst (18-month Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Carlow on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is hybrid, with two days per week working from home, and offers a competitive salary of €50‑53,750 per year. You will help modernise our data collection and integration processes while ensuring compliance with GDPR and FSDN standards.

Key responsibilities

• Upgrade the SQL Server backend to improve performance and scalability.
• Replace the current Excel‑based data collection tool with a secure modern web application.
• Redevelop integration with external administrative and environmental datasets.
• Enhance data quality, system security and long‑term sustainability.
• Ensure all solutions meet FSDN requirements and GDPR compliance.

Required profile

• Level 8 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland on a Stamp 4 visa or Stamp 1G spousal/dependent visa (Graduate visas not accepted).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data management.
