Data Analyst – Fusion Analytics & Data Engineer Team

About the role

State Street is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join the Fusion Analytics and Data Engineer Team. The role focuses on building presentations and ETL data pipelines that support the automation initiative and help visualise scorecards and metrics for Cyber Fusion functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytical views that support enterprise business and operational priorities.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process or performance improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions, define metrics, gather requirements, and translate analytical findings into clear recommendations.
• Use tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, or enterprise data platforms to extract, transform, validate, and visualise data.
• Document data definitions, assumptions, analytical logic, reporting workflows, and procedures to ensure consistency, transparency, and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, security data analyst, security engineer, or on a SOC team.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum values and experience working in high‑efficiency Scrum cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple countries.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, SQL and Databricks.
• Proven ability to generate insights quickly from various security data sources.
