Data Engineer – Dublin

About the role

Join Grid Dynamics' Analytics & Data Engineering Knowledge team in Dublin to design, build, and optimise data pipelines and schemas that power analytics and user‑interface solutions. You will create narratives, metrics and data aggregations that deliver a comprehensive operational health view of data pipelines across the Services division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise data pipelines and schemas to support analytics and UI requirements.
• Define metrics and narratives that enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborate on platform solutions, AI initiatives and data‑quality improvements.
• Support and enhance data infrastructure, ensuring robust data lineage and scalable processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering role.
• Strong background with Superset, data‑engineering platforms and big‑data technologies.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Apache Iceberg, Spark jobs and platform solutions.
• Knowledge of data‑quality practices and AI integration (desirable).
• Java experience is a plus.
