Data Scientist – Optimisation & Databricks

About the role

A technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a large-scale data and AI transformation programme in Dublin. You will design and deploy optimisation and forecasting models that improve resource allocation, scheduling and operational decision-making while collaborating directly with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Build optimisation, scheduling and resource allocation models.
• Develop time-series forecasting and demand modelling solutions.
• Deploy and manage models using Databricks and MLflow.
• Build and maintain supporting data pipelines.
• Present clear, explainable recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience with optimisation, scheduling or resource allocation models.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and MLflow.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience with forecasting and machine-learning model deployment.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing skills.
