Day Porter / F&B Assistant

About the role

Cabra Castle is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team as Day Porters / F&B Assistants. The role involves supporting the hotel’s front‑of‑house operations across both day and evening shifts, on weekdays and weekends throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare assigned areas for service, ensuring rooms, ballrooms, arrival and dining spaces are ready.
• Set, serve and collect room‑service trays promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with dining‑room service, guaranteeing meals are delivered without delay.
• Transport guests’ luggage, belongings and furniture as required.
• Set up and service meeting rooms.
• Follow all hygiene and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Availability for both weekday and weekend shifts, mornings and evenings.
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not mandatory.
