Day Porter & Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

Cabra Castle is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the team as Day Porters and Food & Beverage Assistants. The role involves supporting the smooth operation of banquet, dining and accommodation areas, ensuring guests receive a high standard of service throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare assigned areas for service, including ballroom, arrival and dining spaces.
• Set, serve and collect room service trays efficiently.
• Assist with dining room service, ensuring meals are delivered promptly and without delay.
• Transport guests’ luggage, belongings and assist with moving furniture as required.
• Set up and service meeting rooms for events and functions.
• Follow all hygiene and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends, both morning and evening shifts.
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
• Previous hospitality experience is desirable; customer‑service experience is an advantage.
