Deli Assistant – Full-Time (Portlaoise)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Deli Assistant to join our service station in Portlaoise. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, preparing and serving high‑quality food while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and chilled products efficiently.
• Manage daily kitchen operations under the direction of the Deli Manager.
• Maintain stock levels, conduct portion control and handle stock management.
• Ensure the work area and equipment are clean and comply with HACCP regulations.
• Promote the Corrib Oil Customer Loyalty Programme to customers.
• Carry out deli checks as trained and uphold quality standards.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, Monday through Sunday.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong focus on customer care and service.
• Ability to follow food safety and HACCP standards.
• Reliability in maintaining stock and portion control.
