Deli Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Deli Assistant to join our team at Parkmore Industrial Estate, Galway. You will help deliver high‑quality catering services to staff at a medical‑device factory, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food in line with HACCP and food‑hygiene procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy work environment, including deep‑clean duties.
• Rotate stock and ensure all work areas are organized.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with diners.
• Work independently and take initiative when needed.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the line manager to keep the department running smoothly.

Required profile

• Valid work permit for Ireland and ability to work in Galway.
• High personal standards with strong attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Keen interest in developing food‑preparation and culinary knowledge.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of HACCP and food‑hygiene regulations.
