Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative

About the role

FoodCloud is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative to join its Oranmore hub. You will combine driving duties with core warehouse tasks, ensuring food is moved safely, efficiently, and on time to suppliers and charity partners.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver food to suppliers and charities, adhering to schedules and safety standards.
• Inspect, maintain and clean hub vehicles, ensuring they are road‑worthy, taxed and insured.
• Load and unload vans, pick and pack orders, and manage stock (ambient, chilled, frozen).
• Assist the Hub Manager with goods‑in, dispatch, stock‑taking and general housekeeping.
• Work collaboratively with volunteers and ensure compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and security procedures.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence and proven experience in delivery and warehouse environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including with volunteers.
• Commitment to health, safety and food‑safety standards.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with suppliers and charity partners.

What we offer

• Permanent contract (indefinite duration).
• Full‑time hours – 37.5 hrs per week.
