Department Manager – Retail (Athlone)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in H&M’s Athlone store. As a Department Manager you will lead a team of sales advisors and visual merchandisers, ensuring an outstanding customer experience and strong commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.
• Maintain high operational and visual standards to deliver an excellent in‑store experience.
• Analyse sales data, identify commercial opportunities, set targets and implement plans to optimise profit, stock and results.
• Recruit, onboard and train new team members.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to drive strategic decisions.
