Destination Manager – Hotel Contracting (Ireland)

About the role

G2 Travel is seeking a Destination Manager for Ireland to lead hotel FIT contracting. You will own the commercial relationship with hotels, ensuring the most competitive rates and inventory for our global travel business.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate exclusive rates, inventory and conditions with a portfolio of hotels.
• Achieve room‑night and revenue targets by monitoring and optimizing contracted rates.
• Become the hotel expert for the assigned region, maintaining deep market knowledge.
• Identify and target new strategic hotel accounts and suppliers.
• Monitor competitiveness of negotiated rates and usage of contracted allocations.
• Build strong relationships with sales leaders, finance, operations and reservation teams worldwide.
• Provide regular feedback, data analysis and recommendations to management.
• Lead training, coaching initiatives and support ad‑hoc projects.
• Represent G2 Travel at trade shows, events and conduct regular hotel visits.

Required profile

• Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence hotel management and owners.
• Significant recent experience in hotel contracting within a destination.
• Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of hotel distribution channels and technology.
• Proactive, deadline‑driven attitude and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
