About the role
We are looking for an intermediate DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation of our Azure environment. This hands‑on position will involve maintaining a live website, managing releases, and ensuring security and reliability across our cloud services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide BAU maintenance and support for a live website hosted in Azure.
- Manage releases and environments throughout the cloud lifecycle.
- Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and keep runbooks up to date.
- Apply a security‑first mindset to everyday cloud operations.
- Use cloud security tools to safeguard the Azure environment.
- Support containerised workloads and Kubernetes clusters.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience working in Azure.
- Experience with BAU maintenance of a production website.
- Strong security‑focused mindset.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools and best practices.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, design standards, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with release and environment management in the cloud.
- Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes and virtualisation technologies.
