DevOps Engineer – Build AI‑driven Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Platform Engineer to build the infrastructure that powers AI‑driven drug discovery. This role focuses on creating new systems from scratch rather than maintaining existing tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build containerised systems using Docker or Podman.
• Create multi‑service environments with Docker Compose or Swarm.
• Develop end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Automate and build internal tooling for engineering and R&D teams.
• Work at the Linux level – systemd, networking, shell scripting, debugging.
• Support compute‑heavy scientific and AI workloads.

Required profile

• Proven experience building with Docker (beyond just running containers).
• Strong Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting, networking and systemd.
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.
• Hands‑on capability to independently build and structure infrastructure systems.
