DevOps Expert – Contract (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading consultancy to hire two experienced DevOps Engineers on a 6‑12 month contract. The role is hybrid, based in Dublin, and offers a competitive day rate for professionals who can drive automation and reliability across enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git/GitHub and related tools.
• Automate deployment processes and manage release cycles with Chef, Ansible or Puppet.
• Maintain Linux/Unix environments and develop Shell/Bash and Python scripts for operational efficiency.
• Support production systems, improve system resilience and troubleshoot incidents.
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience in enterprise settings.
• Proven ability to work across the full service lifecycle from design to operational support.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
• Experience with Maven, Artifactory or BitBucket is a plus.
