DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer – Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

Ocuco is seeking a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join its Global Lab Development team in Dublin. The role will support two key platforms – Innovations, a Lab Management System, and Lablink, an online ordering portal – ensuring their infrastructure is stable, secure and ready for cloud migration. Working three days a week on‑site, you will act as the bridge between development, information security and IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Provision, patch, monitor and secure Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Manage networking components such as DNS, TLS/SSL, firewalls and VPNs.
• Handle relational database operations including backups, monitoring and failover (SQL Server preferred).
• Implement and oversee Azure services – App Service, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Entra ID.
• Support compliance and security controls, including vulnerability remediation and least‑privilege access.
• Collaborate with Development, InfoSec and IT teams to troubleshoot and optimise applications and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a DevOps, infrastructure or technical operations role.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
