About the role
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an experienced antitrust and competition lawyer to join its Global Legal team. Based in Europe, the Director will provide practical, business‑oriented antitrust advice across a wide range of commercial activities and support global compliance and regulatory initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the provision of clear antitrust guidance on pricing, distribution, vertical relationships and competitor interactions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to cross‑functional teams, ensuring consistent risk‑management approaches.
- Develop, deliver and maintain antitrust compliance training and related guidance materials.
- Support regulatory inquiries and investigations, coordinating document collection and external counsel engagement.
- Assist with merger control matters, including filings, strategy, and transaction diligence.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in antitrust and competition law, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong ability to translate legal concepts into practical business advice.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Proven track record in handling regulatory investigations and merger control projects.
