Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the Executive Management Team at CHI during a pivotal growth phase. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this senior leader will champion CHI’s culture, values and strategic agenda as the organisation moves to a new site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire HR function, ensuring efficient daily operations and proactive service to all stakeholders.
• Develop and execute a People Strategy aligned with organisational performance and culture goals.
• Oversee organisational development, talent acquisition, learning & development, employee relations and compensation.
• Drive major change programmes, ensuring delivery against service level agreements and budgetary constraints.
• Advise the Chief Executive and senior leadership on HR matters, regulatory compliance and public scrutiny.
• Foster a compassionate, inclusive and civil workplace culture across multi‑site operations.

Required profile

• Level 8 NFQ (or international equivalent) qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of post‑graduate HR experience at an executive level within a large healthcare setting.
• Minimum 7 years of executive management experience in a sizable organisation.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic change, meeting performance targets and managing budgets.
• Experience advising C‑suite executives and leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
