About the role
LinkedIn is seeking a Director of Labor Relations for the EMEA region, based in Dublin. The role will shape and execute the company’s labour relations strategy across Europe and Latin America, partnering with HR, Legal and senior business leaders to navigate complex organisational change.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement a consistent labour relations strategy across European markets.
- Lead engagement with European and country works councils, unions and employee representatives.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on labour risks and opportunities.
- Support major business transformation initiatives such as organisational redesign, M&A, workforce restructuring, technology adoption and compensation changes.
- Ensure consultation obligations are met while enabling business progress.
- Act as the trusted labour‑relations advisor to senior HR and business executives, preparing briefings and influencing strategic decisions.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading labour‑relations strategy across multiple European countries.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted, long‑term relationships with unions, works councils and employee representatives.
- Experience advising senior executives on complex labour matters and associated business risks.
- Strong understanding of European labour law, collective bargaining and consultation processes.
- Track record of supporting organisational change initiatives such as mergers, restructurings and technology transformations.
