Director of Operational Excellence (EU & NA)

About the role

The Director, Operational Excellence, EU & NA will lead the deployment of Lean 4.0 and digital transformation initiatives across European and North American sites, driving a data‑driven operating model and continuous improvement culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end deployment and sustainment of the Lean 4.0 program across EU & NA sites.
• Integrate Lean methodologies with automation, data analytics and AI‑enabled insights.
• Own regional Lean 4.0 governance, roadmap delivery and wave‑based deployment.
• Translate global OE and Lean 4.0 strategy into site‑level transformation roadmaps and performance management frameworks.
• Drive cost‑reduction frameworks, identify savings opportunities and track value delivery.
• Champion digital foundations such as paperless systems, digital logs and data integration.
• Build Lean 4.0 capabilities through training, leadership upskilling and certification journeys.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale Lean or continuous improvement programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in digital transformation, automation and data‑driven decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute multi‑year transformation roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multiple regions and functions.
