Dispatch Operator

About the role

The Dispatch Operator will join JFC's Dispatch team, ensuring that all products are prepared for shipment safely, accurately, and on time. Reporting to the Transport and Logistics Manager, the role focuses on loading efficiency, paperwork accuracy, and maintaining high health, safety, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Load trailers accurately using loading sheets and ensure efficient palletisation.
• Pick and wrap products for loading, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
• Complete all associated loading paperwork accurately.
• Identify and report health and safety hazards, implementing recommended actions.
• Maintain strict compliance with Health & Safety rules, 5S standards, and quality procedures.
• Report any quality issues to the manager and participate in cross‑functional teamwork.
• Assemble and clean products for shows and perform other daily dispatch duties as required.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent (minimum requirement).
• Technical certificate or equivalent is desirable.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Professional attitude with strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to health & safety, quality, and 5S standards.
• Customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Fork truck certification (advantageous).
