District Sales Executive

About the role

The District Sales Executive (DSE) drives new customer revenue for an assigned district, aligning sales activities with Expeditors' strategic goals. This role works in a flexible, fast‑changing environment and reports to the District Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory, developing deep knowledge of potential customers and competitors.
• Enter data promptly into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Coordinate customer and branch relationships, collaborating with regional product, service, geographic, and knowledge‑management teams.
• Create value‑added logistics solutions, including diagrams and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Support the transition of new accounts through introductions, information transfer, and required paperwork; assist with accounts‑receivable collections when needed.
• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
• Engage with local trade groups as directed by the District Sales Manager.
• Take on additional assignments as required.
