Early Years Educator – Full‑Time (Dublin 1)

About the role

Kids Inc. is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join its Swords Centre team on a full‑time permanent basis. You will work in a vibrant, screen‑free environment, supporting children’s holistic development through play, sport and creative activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, caring and engaging setting for all children.
• Observe children’s actions, document interests and co‑construct learning activities.
• Educate, supervise and support children’s physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development.
• Use mealtimes as opportunities for social learning and development.
• Record progress, build trusting relationships with parents/guardians, and maintain a clean, tidy environment in line with health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum QQI Level 5 childcare qualification or an equivalent DCIEDIY‑approved qualification.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Full flexibility, team spirit and a genuine love for children.
• Positive attitude, adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.
