Early Years Practitioner – Stonecourt

About the role

Respond is seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join its Stonecourt service in Ennis. You will help deliver a high‑quality, play‑based curriculum aligned with Aistear and Siolta, supporting children’s development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a play‑based curriculum both indoors and outdoors.
• Observe, document and create learning stories for each child.
• Organise materials and resources that reflect children’s interests and abilities.
• Support children’s emotional, social and cognitive development.
• Provide healthy snacks, respecting cultural and dietary needs.
• Develop and promote parental involvement strategies.
• Uphold child welfare policies in line with national guidance.
• Promote the service within the local community.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.
