EHS Coordinator – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

This permanent position supports the EHS Manager in a manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, local legislation and promoting a strong safety culture. It is suitable for recent graduates or professionals with up to three years of experience in health, safety or environmental roles.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing EHS policies, procedures and systems aligned with corporate governance frameworks.
• Maintain EHS records, documentation and compliance tracking tools.
• Support internal and external audits, follow‑up on findings and corrective actions.
• Conduct routine site inspections, report hazards and contribute to incident investigations.
• Help deliver training programmes, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns.
• Support environmental compliance activities such as waste management, emissions monitoring and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• 0‑3 years of experience in an EHS or similar role, preferably with ISO management systems.
• Knowledge of Irish environmental and safety legislation.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
