Electrical Engineer – Data Centres (Relocate to Dublin)

About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to relocate to Dublin, a fast‑growing data‑centre hub, and lead the electrical engineering of high‑profile, mission‑critical projects. You will join a global consultancy, influencing design and delivery without the constraints of a rigid senior title.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex electrical design for data‑centre and mission‑critical facilities, including power distribution, UPS, standby generation and resilience measures.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients throughout design and delivery phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UK, Irish and European offices to ensure best practice and compliance with local standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while expanding your own commercial and technical expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data‑centre or mission‑critical electrical design within the UK or EU consulting market.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate to Dublin (relocation support provided).
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
