Electrical Engineer – Data Centres (Relocation to Dublin)

About the role

This position offers a unique chance to relocate to Dublin, a fast‑growing hub for hyperscale and colocation data centres. You will join a global consultancy and take technical ownership of complex, mission‑critical electrical projects across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of high‑availability data‑centre infrastructure, including power distribution, UPS, standby generation and resilience measures.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients, providing guidance throughout design, construction and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the UK, Ireland and other European offices to ensure compliance with local standards and best practice.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Support the preparation of load calculations, performance‑driven designs and detailed documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data‑centre or mission‑critical electrical design within the UK or EU consulting market.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to relocate to Dublin with relocation assistance provided.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing directly with clients.
