Electrical Engineering – Data Centres (Relocation to Dublin)

About the role

This position offers a unique chance to relocate to Dublin, a fast‑growing hub for hyperscale and colocation data centres. You will join a global consultancy and take technical ownership of high‑profile, mission‑critical projects across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of complex data‑centre projects, including power distribution, UPS, standby generation and resilience solutions.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for clients, providing clear direction throughout design, construction and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Black & White Engineering’s UK, Irish and European offices to ensure compliance with local standards.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical growth within the team.
• Support commercial activities by translating technical solutions into client‑focused proposals.

Required profile

• Strong background in data‑centre or mission‑critical electrical design.
• Proven experience leading complex building‑services projects in the UK or EU consulting market.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willingness to relocate to Dublin (relocation support provided).
• Fluent English; Irish language not required.
