Electronics Engineer – Dublin

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer at Applied Materials you will design, modify and troubleshoot electrical and electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics and drawings that support cutting‑edge semiconductor equipment. The role involves performing engineering analysis, generating test reports and creating documentation for product releases while coordinating component procurement and assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics and specifications of moderate scope.
• Perform basic engineering analysis and generate test reports for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of components, identify critical parts and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems and implement solutions.
• Assist in developing electrical product specifications and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Good communication skills to explain complex information.
• Understanding of industry business drivers (preferred).
