Email Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Email Marketing Manager to lead lifecycle and retention initiatives for a fast‑growing consumer brand in Ireland. The role will own email, SMS and subscription strategies, turning first‑time buyers into loyal advocates through data‑driven storytelling and optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale lifecycle marketing programs that improve retention, increase engagement and maximise revenue across multiple channels.
• Own the email and SMS strategy, including campaign calendars, automated flows and lifecycle communications.
• Build, optimise and maintain customer journeys for welcome, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post‑purchase, cross‑sell, upsell, subscription, win‑back and re‑engagement flows.
• Manage SMS campaigns and automations while continuously improving conversion performance.
• Create retention strategies focused on repeat purchases, subscription adoption, customer lifetime value and loyalty.
• Design advanced segmentation and personalization based on behaviour, lifecycle stage and engagement patterns.
• Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling email and SMS content.
• Establish and execute an experimentation roadmap covering subject lines, messaging, offers, timing, segmentation, creative assets and landing pages.
• Analyse performance metrics, build reporting dashboards and communicate actionable insights.
• Partner with growth, creative, product, CRO and leadership teams to deliver consistent, impactful customer interactions.

Required profile

• Data‑driven lifecycle marketing professional with strong execution skills.
• Deep understanding of customer behaviour and experience building high‑performing retention programmes.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in lifecycle, email or retention marketing roles.
