Employee Relations Consultant

About the role

The Employee Relations Consultant will support the business in Dublin by providing day‑to‑day advice and case management on a wide range of employee relations matters. Working on‑site two days a week, you will help managers and employees resolve performance, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE and termination issues while ensuring compliance with company policy and Irish employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with People Business Partners, managers and employees to interpret policies and facilitate issue resolution.
• Manage performance, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, termination and sickness‑absence cases, following escalation and documentation guidelines.
• Conduct research and due‑diligence to mitigate risk and provide analytic insights for regional leadership.
• Handle emergency “One Breath” situations in line with company protocols.
• Prepare documentation for leadership meetings and implement ServiceNow changes.
• Audit ISO and WRC processes, contribute to policy reviews and improvements.
• Deliver manager training on employee‑relations trends and mitigation strategies.
• Support senior‑level escalations, vendor management and cross‑functional training.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling employee‑relations cases across entry‑ to mid‑level employees.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR policies.
• Ability to research, analyse and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with a sense of urgency.
